How to “save” deals in BBO, and how to recover “saved” deals

You can save deals in BBO into your own customised folders.

To do this you should first create the folders. By default BBO creates some folders for you, but let's start now by creating two of our own. We'll call these "SLAMS" and "AUCTIONS".

So log in to BBO and go to your "Account" tab. You should see something like this :

Click on "Deal archive" in the top right. Here's what mine looks like :

Click on the "+" sign in the top right, and a new folder with the temporary title "Untitled folder" appears. Click on the pencil icon to name the folder.

Repeat the procedure, naming the two new folders "AUCTIONS" and "SLAMS" as we decided above. Your screen will now look like this :

Now to populate these folders go to your history folder and find the deals you want to save. For this example I'll save a slam hand into the "SLAMS" folder.

Go to your "History" tab & highlight the relevant deal. The hand will display in the window below. Click on the menu icon, and select the option "Export", e.g.,

The menu changes, now select the "Save deal as" option

A new window appears, type a name for the deal and then click on the folder you wish to save it in. In this example I have called the deal "V Robots 15 Oct" and then I clicked on the "SLAMS" folder.

Now when I return to the "Deal archive" page on my "Accounts" tab the deal is listed in my "SLAMS" folder :-

I have also other interesting deals in other folders, e.g.,
