How to register for a BBO Teams competition

To register for a BBO Swiss Teams competition : 

(If you do not follow these instructions both halves of the team can still enter for the competition in the normal way, but you risk that BBO might match you up with the wrong partnership, or that you don't get a game at all)

1. All 4 team members must be logged in to BBO at the same time ;
   
2. South should wait for North's invitation and accept it ;
   
3. East West should register for the competition exactly the same way as if they were entering a BBO pairs competition, but then in addition they both must wait for an invitation from North to join the team, and they both must accept ;
   
4. North should log in to BBO using a Laptop or desktop computer via this link -> https://www.bridgebase.com/client/client.php
   (this option may not be available on mobile devices or iPads)
   
   A BBO login screen should now appear, if it does not skip down to step 9 and continue from there.
   
5. North logs in using their BBO ID and password.
   BBO will look a little different here, but once team registration is complete North can log out and log back in under the normal BBO screen.
   
6. North locates the tournament 
1. Click “Competitive”
2. Click “Tournaments” (NB not "Team Matches")
3. Click "All tournaments" and find your tournament in the list
   
7. North invites his/her partner (i.e. South) in the normal way ;
   
8. North then invites the East West pair  to join the team. (East/West by now should have already registered as a pair as described in step 3 above).
   
   Once East West accept the invitation the team is registered.
   
   However, North should make sure that both East and West have accepted the "Invite to Team" by checking that his/her team is now listed on the special version of BBO that he/she is using.
   
   All team members need take no further action except to make sure that they are logged in to BBO before the competition start time.

   Some or all of the following steps are required, by North only,  if step 4 did not bring up the log in screen.
9. If the login screen has not appeared you will receive a message like this :
   
   
10. Click on the "Launch Bridge Base Online" link.
    If this brings up the following window ...
    
    click "allow" which will bring up the log in screen and you can continue from step 5 above.
    
    Otherwise ...
    
    
11. The window in step 12 might appear immediately, in which case continue from step 12.
    Otherwise you might see a message to say "Flash was blocked",
    but whether you see this message or not, an icon like this
    

    
    will appear in the right of the internet address field (near the top right of your screen).
    Click on the icon to bring up the window in step 12.
    
    
12. You now have this window on your screen :
    
    Click on "Manage", which will open a new tab in your browser
    
    
13. The new tab will look like so, (without the red circle)
    
    
14. Click on the button highlighted by the red circle, it will change colour, and the text to the left of it will change too.
    
    
    
15. Now close this browser tab, & you will be returned to the message in step 9.
